The President of the Mome Center, Gordana Simonović Veljković, is the winner of the annual "Drivers of Change 2025" award, which is awarded by the Belgrade Open School (BOŠ) as part of the Move.Link.Engage conference.

The award was given to the documentary film "Women and Patriarchy: Stories from Stara Planina", produced by the Mome Center. The film brings testimonies of women from mountain villages and their struggle with the consequences of patriarchal patterns, migration, poverty and marginalization.

"This award does not belong only to me - it is a recognition of all the women who shared their stories, as well as the associates who supported me on this journey," said Gordana Simonović Veljković on that occasion.

Special thanks go to Reconstruction - Women's Fund and the Women's Ecumenical Initiative, whose support was crucial for the realization of this initiative.
